However many customers have told us that it is helpful when taking off from a stationary position at a stop street , traffic light or on a very steep hill for instant momentum. E-bike Pedal-assist requires a half or a full revolution pedal by the rider before it is activated. A throttle however gives instant momentum instead of delayed power assist which is what someone may need in certain situations.
